Read this first each time you come here.

Note

March 21, 1996. When you write, you must put down your name and student number. As you can see, we cannot tell who wrote the things without a name in them. Alternately, you can choose Options (on the top), and then in _Identity_ you write your name and student number there. That way, you don't have to sign every time.

March 15, 1996. Next week we will read "Soap Opera" and "Blonde Jokes." Please get a printout here and bring it to the class.

Important: To write an email, you should set up the email system in Netscape. Click _Options_, choose _Mail and news preferences_, and then click _Identity_. Fill out _Email Address_ with your account plus @ccunix.ccu.edu.tw. For instance, if your account is u5412230, then you shuold use u5412230@ccunix.ccu.edu.tw for your email address.

The remaining teaching material will be put here soon.
To print our reading material from the workstations in the Computer Center, right after issuing "Print" (by clicking the button or by choosing it from the _File_ pulldown menu), you will see "Lpr" in a box. Please change it to "Lpr -Psp" (no quote) and then click OK. Otherwise, it won't print well.
